The Confédération canadienne des cadres – Canadian Manager Confederation (CCC-CMC) was established under the federal non-profit organization plan in the fall of 2009. Through its partner associations and federations, which are also members of the Confédération nationale des cadres du Québec (CNCQ), the CCC-CMC currently represents nearly 7 000 senior managers from across Québec.
This new grouping was created to raise the profile of Québec’s senior managers on the international stage. In fact, for the past several years, the CNCQ has had a partnership arrangement with CEC European Managers and the International Confederation of Managers (CEC-ICM), which bring together more than 25 associations and federations from all countries of the European community. Furthermore, in order to play a more active and representative role in such large-scale institutions, the CCC-CMC needed to become a constituted body under federal aegis, and after acquiring this status, it became a CEC-ICM affiliate in the fall of 2010.
